220 Youth Leadership offers comp­tency-based mini courses designed to help organizations deliver meaning­ful experiences through focused, project-based learning.

Flexible credit that fits your schedule

220’s mini courses are designed to fit a variety of schedules and learning environments.

Courses can operate as standalone, self-paced experiences or be incorporated into teacher-facilitated classroom settings. Embedded instructional videos guide students through instruction and projects, supporting both asynchronous learning and structured classroom use.

Applied computer science focused on practical understanding and modern skill development.

Personal Finance

Financial literacy instruction covering budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and long-term planning.

Preparing for College & Careers

Structured postsecondary and career readiness planning. When offered in 8th grade, PCC qualifies for $150 CTE reimbursement.

Our mini courses are structured around applied learning and demonstrated mastery.

Students complete guided research, real-world assignments, and cumulative final products that demonstrate understanding. Knowledge checks support progression, while final deliverables require synthesis and application.

Each course emphasizes meaningful student output. Students research, create, present, and demonstrate what they have learned through applied work.
