Programs
220 Youth Leadership helps schools meet new graduation requirements, recover funding, and deliver meaningful opportunities for students.
Self-Paced Mini Courses
Flexible, competency-based credit.
Mini courses are ideal for students earning elective credit, meeting credit recovery needs, or balancing busy schedules. Students demonstrate mastery through engaging, project-based content aligned to Indiana’s shift toward competency-based learning.
Features include:
- Flexible Delivery: student self-paced or teacher-facilitated.
- Relevant Content: leadership, workforce, entrepreneurship, personal finance, computer science, and more.
- Postsecondary readiness: connects directly to workforce skills while awarding credit quickly and effectively.
One-Semester Courses
Our semester courses are aligned to Indiana Academic Standards and ready for classroom use. Subjects include Computer Science, Personal Finance, and Preparing for College & Careers.
What schools value most:
- Turnkey design: complete lesson plans and pacing guides.
- Teacher support: on-demand training plus weekly office hours with the 220YL team.
- Consistency: ensures students earn required credits while teachers receive ongoing support.
Work-Based Learning
Most districts face the same obstacles. Transportation challenges, limited employer availability, and narrow industry exposure. 220 solves those problems by serving as the WBL employer and evaluator, allowing schools to simply monitor while we manage implementation.
Students experience:
- Career discovery rotations through our simulated departments: marketing, sales, finance, product design, app development, and more, delivered as PBL units.
- Live coaching sessions with Industry Professionals: 220 WBL coaches, 220 executives, and industry leaders.
- Remote work experience: build entrepreneurial skills, prepare for the workforce, and add this internship to resumes.
Funding + compliance benefits:
- Honors Plus Seal → $2,495 per student
- Perkins/CTE reimbursement → $500–$714 per student.
- Aligned to Student Success Indicators for high school in Indiana’s new School Accountability Model (draft)
